11/23/2023 0 Comments 7 days to die base on a bridge![]() Every block has a SI rating (how much weight it can support), and a weight. Every block sideways, however, removes structural integrity, until things collapse. Basically, all Structural Integrity is calculated from vertical columns - you you have a column to bedrock, it is perfectly stable, and all blocks are completely supported. I’d suggest watching some videos on 7dtd structural integrity. Bridges stretch structural integrity to breaking point, and are absolutely prone to falling apart at the merest change - it’s part of what makes them terrible bases. Essentially, what you need to do to fix that bridge is leave a central support column in. ![]() I think if you search Dev in the “u” menu, you should find The dev tools, including a terrain gun (looks like an SMG) which instantly breaks blocks.Īnyway, what you’ve discovered is that “structural integrity” doesn’t always work realistically in this game. Nothing that signifies what you've achived over the long run other than maybe a pillager raid that happens every so often, that too only if you live next to or inside of a village. In creative mode, yeah. No impending horde night threat that'll come knocking at your doorstep every seven or so days, Though in all honesty, I still haven't played Minecraft in a while even due to that since unlike 7DTD it doesn't have a reason for you to build such a mega construction other than for "fun" I tried this same approach in Minecraft and found it to be the most fun I've ever had with a game, since before this I just played the game for an hour or two, found it boring and never opened it again. I always end up doing Megabase builds like the one you're attempting right now since it gives me a proper long term, end game goal that I can work towards overtime and keep improving upon, otherwise the nights sorta just become this: "gathering resources and stocking them into that POI you cleared out" What really allows me to have tons of fun and look forward to something is creating something truly impressive. ![]() All you need for a pipe bomb is a pipe, some gunpowder not much, and some plant fiber. ![]() Once you start getting demo zombies just use steel on the bottom of the tower and you're still good to go.īest part is you use zero bullets and can easily kill the whole horde. Easily will survive hordes right up till demo zombies start spawning (usually night 28 or 35 or so, depends on your level). Easily built by day 7 even on reduced loot. Roughly 200-300 rebar, maybe 3k concrete, and around 40 pipe bombs. With the new atomic candy that gives +50% explosion damage even if you only have 1 or 2 points in demolition you'll still kill most zombies in one blast (on warrior anyway). Once horde night starts just drop grenades or pipe bombs down the hole every so often. Make one hole in the floor looking down on each side. Plate the base of the tower with rebar plates for more hp and use a 1/4th block to make the roof supports and to make sure you don't fall through the holes. Cap the tower with a room with some barred windows you can shoot through and make the edges of the room overhang the tower itself. Make a 3 block area around the tower base reinforced concrete (so the zombies can't dig under it). Not worth it, you can easily just build a tower 3x3 on a flat area about 5 blocks high.
